Big Jubilee Lunch

Street parties and fetes were held across the United Kingdom to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee

Building on the already popular Big Lunch initiative, people across the UK were encouraged to share lunch with neighbours and friends as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

Lunches took the form of a traditional street party or a picnic lunch in small or larger groups.

The event was organised by the Big Lunch.

Communities were able to apply to the Big Lottery Fund for funding for a local event through the Awards for All Scheme.

- Organising a small street party or fete
