The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, and other Members of the Royal Family will attend a Service to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Coronation Service on Tuesday 4 June at 11am. Find out more.

A major exhibition for the Summer Opening of Buckingham Palace to be held to mark the 60th anniversary of The Queen’s Coronation

The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Volunteering Award
Nominations open today for a special award that will mark The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee by recognising the work of voluntary organisations throughout the United Kingdom. The new Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Volunteering Award 2012 will honour the efforts of charities and voluntary organisations that undertake projects at a national level this year, including groups which are supporting the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.The Diamond Jubilee Volunteering Award is an extension of the successful Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service (QAVS), the highest recognition for volunteering, with an equivalent status to the UK MBE. It has been established by the Cabinet Office with the approval of Buckingham Palace. For further information, see

Results of Diamond Jubilee civic honours competition announced
The Government has announced that in honour of The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Chelmsford, Perth and St Asaph have been awarded the right to call themselves a city, while Armagh will from now on have a Lord Mayor. Click here to find out more.
